‘Love Rain’ First Airing
KBS2's new anticipated drama 'Love Rain' aired its first episode on the 26th. The first scenes captured attention with its beautiful cinematography. On this episode, In Ha (played by Jang Geun Suk) and Yoon Hee (played by Yoona) fatefully meet.
The vintage-like scenery really captured the setting of the '70s and also emphasized Yoona's perfect character transformation. With her natural long hair and doe eyes, she captures the attention of the surrounding boys. Yoona's beauty was perfectly captured in the drama: each shot in her scenes looked like an advertisement for makeup.
Jang Geun Suk was also successful in portraying his character. He transforms into his character of In Ha who struggles to get closer to the girl he's interested in.
However, the awkward voiceover was a mistake. In the middle of a beautiful scene with Yoona, the audience suddenly hears Jang Geun Suk's voice. The voiceover distracted the audience from focusing on the scene.
Many of the viewers voiced their dissatisfaction with, "The sound of the rain was nice but the voices of the two characters didn't mix well," "Yoona's voiceover sounded too obvious," etc.
