Yeon Woo Jin Becomes Villain For ‘Arang’
Actor Yeon Woo Jin will attempt his first historical drama as well as his first villain role for MBC's miniseries 'Arang,' planned to air in July.
On the 2nd, according to his agency, 'Arang' is a fantasy romance historical drama of the Arang legend in which a woman dies an unfair death, as her ghost appears to the town's magistrate, requesting to relieve her grudge. Yeon Woo Jin has been casted as Joo Wal, one filled with desires to reverse his life.
Yeon Woo Jin has received recognition for his acting skills through drama 'Ojakgyo Brothers' and drama special 'Ordinary Love.' Yeon Woo Jin revealed, "I'm always open to pursue different works with strong personality characters, and I think 'Arang' is a great opportunity. It's my first time as a villain, so I'm preparing by thoroughly researching the character."
Along with Yeon Woo Jin, 'Arang' stars Shin Min Ah and Lee Jun Ki.
