‘The King, Two Hearts,’ Lee Yoon Ji’s Chilling Acting
In the 8th episode of MBC’s ‘The King, Two Hearts,’ which aired on the 12th, Princess Jae Shin (played by Lee Yoon Ji) wakes up in the hospital. In the previous episode, the princess jumped off a cliff to avoid being killed by assassins.
After waking up, Jae Shin feels that something is off and stabs her own leg and is shocked to find that she is paralyzed from the waist down.
While she is alone in the hospital room, she smells something weird, and later realizes that she wet herself. She reaches out for a tissue but it is at the other end of the bed. While she tries to reach for it, she falls off the bed. The guards hear this, but Jae Shin screams for them to not come in.
Jae Shin is seen desperately trying to get the tissue. The scene was heart breaking and caused viewers to get chills.
It was only a couple episodes ago the princess was having fun, dancing and singing on stage. Viewers are curious to see how this adversity will change her life.
