Spoiler TV has recently shared the "Blue Bloods" press release entitled "Forgive and Forget." It seems Jamie is off to a rough start this coming season as he gets into trouble with Eddie and his fellow officers for riding with a shunned cop.

The cop in question is a "she" who got the cold shoulder treatment from her colleagues after giving testimonies against her partner. For this "Blue Bloods" season 5 spoilers, the viewers could easily assume that in so doing, she has already lost her partner. But for reasons yet to be revealed, Jamie steps in and offers to ride with her for seven days.

What others may view as an act of chivalry rubbed his colleagues the wrong way, especially his partner. While Jamie busies himself dealing with his situation, Erin and Danny go head to head over an already closed case that has recently turned into a homicide.

On top of everything, three new characters are about to make their entrance in the series, as reported by Hallels. La Tanya Jackson will join the roster as a new squad commander. Cardinal Brennan in the person of Bill Irwin will be coming in as well. Last comes the most mysterious of them all Robert McCoy, which Holt McCallany will be portraying.
