Park Min Young, Casting Confirmed For ‘Time Slip Dr. Jin’
On the 19th, Park Min Young’s agency King Kong Entertainment confirmed that she is casted to play the female lead for MBS’s upcoming drama ‘Time Slip Dr. Jin.’
The drama is based on the Japanese manga ‘Jin,’ by Motoka Murakami. Japan has already created a drama based on the manga on 2009 and was a big hit. The story follows South Korea’s best doctor who gets transported to the Joseon dynasty, specifically the 1860s. The doctor will be played by Song Seung Hoon.
Park Min Young will play two characters: one from 2012 and one from the Joseon dynasty. Her character in 2012 is Doctor Yoo Mi Na, who is bright and energetic. Her character in the 1860s is Hong Young Rae, a more serious, stronger character.
The drama is scheduled to air its first episode on May 26.
