IU Makes Surprise Visit To Yoo In Na

Singer IU made a surprise visit to actress Yoo In Na without the knowledge of her agency.

During the airing of KBS 2FM's 'Yoo In Na's Turn the Volume Up' show, DJ Yoo In Na screamed, "My goodness!" in the middle of the broadcast. The reason for her surprised reaction was the sudden and unexpected appearance of IU in the radio booth.

Yoo In Na continued to express her surprise, repeatedly exclaiming, "What is this? You surprised me!", to which IU replied, "I took a taxi here. If my managers found out they'd kill me", revealing that she carried out the surprise visit without letting her agency know.

In addition, IU commented that KBS security was very scrutinous, saying that even though she "took off my hat and showed my face [to the security guard at the entrance], he didn't recognize me without my make up, asking, 'What's the nature of your visit?' and said 'Huh?' when I told him I was IU", prompting Yoo In Na to burst out in laughter.

It having recently been Yoo In Na's birthday, IU brought a sexy costume as a birthday gift, causing Yoo In Na to become embarrassed. Yoo In Na promised IU to wear the present during 'visible radio' per IU's request.

Because IU's visit was unannounced even to the production crew, her visit was to last all of ten minutes. However, she could not resist the temptation of radio broadcasting and stayed for an hour, helping Yoo In Na with the show. Yoo In Na appeared to be more excited than usual as well, carrying out her duties as DJ without showing any grudges about sharing the spotlight with her surprise guest.

Due to the nature of the surprise visit, IU appealed to the agency to spare her from scoldings, and Yoo In Na backed her up, requesting officials to turn a blind eye to the day's surprise and asking listeners to keep "our little secret".
