Miss Seoul Kim Yoo Mi Crowned ‘2012 Miss Korea’
On the 6th, Kim Yoo Mi (22) was crowned Miss Korea as the most intelligent and beautiful during the Miss Korea contest, which took place at Kyung Hee University's Hall of Peace in Dongdaemun.
Kim Yoo Mi, born in 1990, is 22 years old and is currently attending Konkuk University as a film major. She is also 175.5 cm tall and flaunts a perfect 35-23-35 body.
Along with Kim Yoo Mi, Kim Sara (Seoul) and Lee Jung Bin (Gwangju Jeonnam) were crowned second place.
In third place were Kim Yoo Jin (Seoul), Kim Tae Hyun (Gyeongbuk), Kim Na Yeon (Daegu), and Kim Young Joo (Incheon).
On this day, 54 women from different regions over Korea competed for the 2012 Miss Korea title.
The average age out of these 54 women was 21.6 years old, with 19-25 years old as the age range for the competition. The average height was 171.3cm while the average weight was 52.9kg. All of the candidates are attending or have attended college, if not graduate school.
The final winner must participate in international beauty contests, including Miss Universe, for two years as the Korean representative. In addition, she will also promote blood drives and partake in various activities such as sending mosquito nets to Africa.
