‘The Chaser’ Ends With 16 Episodes, No Extension
SBS's Monday-Tuesday drama 'The Chaser' withdrew its extension of one more broadcast.
According to a representative of 'The Chaser' on the 16th, it was recently officially announced that the drama will be extended one more episode. However, it has been concluded that the drama will end without any extension at a total of 16 episodes rather than 17.
On the 10th, a representative had revealed, "Utilizing the tension of the drama and taking into consideration the actors' schedules, we've been in the process of discussing an extension and decided that there would be no harm towards the story."
However, due to the current filming schedule and upcoming scenes, there are several opinions stating that an extension would provide harm to the drama's plot, and the extension has been withdrawn. Instead, a two-day special broadcast will take place on the 23rd and 24th.
'The Chaser,' which is receiving praise as a well-made drama, has gained popularity for its exceptional cinematic quality. 'The Chaser' is the drama of a father who loses his daughter and his opposition against the heartless presidential candidate who killed his daughter.
