Singer Seo In Gook succeeded in losing 14kg for a role in a drama.

Seo In Gook succeeded in losing 14kg to act as the role of the perfect man ,Yoon Yoon Je, in the tvN weekend drama, 'Reply 1997.' On  the 'Reply 1997' bulletin board, viewers complimented him on his upgraded physical appearance and showed interest in him.

In the drama, Seo In Gook plays a Gyeongsangdo man, Yoon Yoon Je that is slightly cold and blunt. Yoon Yoon Je plays the role of having a one sided love for his childhood friend of 18 years, Sung Si Won (Jung Eun Ji).

On the other hand, 'Reply 1997' has the background of H.O.T. and Sechs Kies being popular in Busan. Sung Si Won plays the role of an extreme fan of H.O.T. and Yoon Yoon Je only looks at Sung Si Won. The other characters that are in the high school drama are the erotic character Do Hak Chan(Eun Ji Won) and illuminating secret guy Kang Joon Hee(Hoya).
