Actress Han Ji Hye Returns to Dramas Feeling Both Anxious and Confident

Actress Han Ji Hye will return to television after a one year hiatus with MBC's new weekend drama 'May Queen'.  She will take on the character of Chun Hae Joo, a bright and lovable young woman who dreams to build a top ship for her father.

Han Ji Hye reveals that her like interests for the sea with the character and bright personality was what encouraged her to pursue the role. She states that the complex character depth displayed by Hae Joo is a new challenge she wishes to take on in her newest project.

She goes on to say about her castmate, "I heard Kim Jae Won has a great personality, likes to eat good food, and does a good job taking care of those around him. To be working together is exciting and makes me really happy. I hope we can become close friends while filming."

'May Queen' takes on the setting of a booming shipyard industry and the young people growing up in a new generation between their parents struggles. The drama will cover the journey of ambition, love, betrayal, revenge, and success to create an epic drama.
