‘Grimm’ Season 4 Spoilers: When Will Nick Get His Powers Back? How Dangerous Is Nick And Adalind’s ‘Explosive’ Mind Connection? [Video]

Last Friday, Captain Renard's (really intimidating but cool mother), Elizabeth, offered to help Monroe and Rosalee find a cure for Nick. Will they be successful in reversing Adalind's spell? Read on for more 'Grimm' season 4 spoilers!

On episode 2, Nick and Adalind experienced the side effect of the spell that took away the former's Grimm powers. Aside from a head-splitting headache, the both of them seemed to have switched places with Nick seeing what Adalind saw and vice versa.

How dangerous is this connection they share exactly?

According to David Giuntoli (who plays Nick Burkhardt), the connection is "magical, horrible." He also admits to Three if by Space that he, himself, doesn't know why this is all happening and he "certainly can't say how this all ends."

Claire Coffee (who plays Adalind) was a bit more willing to share some 'Grimm' season 4 spoilers. She reportedly told TVLine, "It links them in a way that's going to be explosive come Episode 8."

The cure, once figured out, won't be as simple as drinking a potion. Coffee further revealed, "It resolves itself in quite a treacherous way and it has massive implications for a couple of the characters."

Those characters will surely include Nick and Adalind, but who else? Juliette could be one of them, with her romantic connection with Nick. She previously requested Monroe and Rosalee to stop looking for a cure (which they totally ignored).

Coffee teased a bit more, "I keep thinking all the Adalind haters are going to be super-excited at what transpires at the beginning of the season."

According to the episode four synopsis, the Hexenbiest will find herself back in Portland after managing to escape the Royals' dungeon.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth, Monroe, and Rosalee will finally make a breakthrough with the cure. From Coffee's clues, however, it sounds like Nick's powers will only be fully restored on episode eight.
