The story of "Transformers: Age of Extinction" starts when a historic scuffle left a great city tattered. If there's one good consolation in this event, it is in knowing that the world is saved. As humanity makes an effort to make a new beginning, an unknown group comes up and tries to control history, while a prehistoric, powerful new peril gets Earth in its crosshairs.
With humans at the helm, along with Autobots and Optimus Prime, they take the challenge and get in a hard-to-believe adventure, where they pick up a war of good and evil.

"Transformers" cast includes Mark Wahlberg (as Cade Yeager), Jack Reynor (as Shane Dyson), Nicola Peltz (as Tessa Yeager), Stanley Tucci (as Joshua Joyce), Kelsey Grammer (as Harold Attinger), and Sophia Miles (as Darcy Tirrel).
Wahlberg, in an interview, said that this film is something new for him.
"It's very different. But I enjoy the idea of playing the dad, and I hadn't really envisioned myself doing that until recently, but I enjoy it. I am a dad, I've got four small children; my oldest is a girl. You know the whole thing about having to deal with the boyfriend and all those things are things that I think about all the time. And, of course, just having the chance to work with Michael on a movie like this where I know I can still have enough room and freedom to develop the character and make it my own, like we did in "Pain & Gain". He trusts me to do my thing. We've collaborated a lot together, so it's been a great experience.
