A picture surfaced of Lee Joon Gi attempting to watch his drama, MBC's Wednesday-Thursday mini-series "Arang and the Magistrate", live.

In the picture, he is seen focusing on his cellphone. He must not be getting a good signal as he is holding his cellphone high while seriously focused on the screen.

Even as they busily film through the night, Lee Joon Gi and all the other actors and staff members take the time to watch the episodes live to monitor the edited version with CG, music, and sound effects.

It is also eye-catching that "district magistrate" Lee Joon Gi is wearing a padded jacket. They first started filming at the beginning of summer, but in the second half of the filming, the season changed. While they used to fight with the heat as the actors had to wear several layers of Korean traditional clothing, now at night, they have to wear padded jackets and stay close to a bonfire.

"Arang and the Magistrate" is based on the Legend of Arang from the area of Miryang, Kyung Nam. "Arang" (played by Shin Min Ah) is a reckless virgin ghost with memory loss who wants to find out why she unfairly died. "Eun Oh" (played by Lee Joon Gi) is a prickly district magistrate who can see ghosts. The fantasy romance drama is about how the two characters meet in the Joseon era, and the drama airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:55 pm on MBC.
