'How To Get Away With Murder' Has New Suspect For Sam's Death, But Is He Really Dead? New Episodes Air January

"How to Get Away with Murder" has had fans glued to the TV with its suspenseful plot.  With the hit TV show pausing for the winter break, fans are forced to turn to the web for updates.

Here are the latest "How to Get Away with Murder" spoilers.

New reports claim that the show might have a new suspect when the season returns on January.

As International Business Times noted, "One of the loose ends from episode 9 was Michaela's (Aja Naomi King) engagement ring. She realized it was gone on murder night after they burned Sam's body and never found it. "How To Get Away With Murder" will have to deal with the lost ring."

Show runner Peter Norwalk added, "The whole night comes to bite her in the a-- and it's going to have definite personal fallout for her that we'll see."

In a separate interview with Entertainment Weekly, Norwalk teased about Sam's fate and hinted that he might still be alive.

"Whether we'll see him in an alive state or a dead state, I won't say, but yes, we will see him," he said.

"The last-aired episode ended with some major cliffhangers. It revealed exactly what happened on the night of Sam's death. The man is killed during the scuffle with the main suspect in Lila's murder case, Rebecca. However, Wes gave the final blow to Sam and he is the main culprit in his death. But not one can be entirely blamed for Sam's murder.

Meanwhile, Annalise pays a visit to Nate in his apartment and they end up sleeping together. Elsewhere, Bonnie binges on alcohol before making a call to Asher. At Asher's house, things get heated up between the two. Next morning, Annalise gives a call to Bonnie and she sounds really freaked out.

Wes destroys the storage drive that Rebecca snatched from Sam before he died. Later, Annalise's announces that she has filed a complaint with the police since Sam is missing. In the final flashback, the show takes a jaw dropping twist that shows Annalise was present in the room when Wes returned to her mansion to retrieve the murder weapon from the crime spot."
