The fans have been behind the scenes, gathering evidence, finding tips, and launching low-key campaigning activities to influence public opinion in favor of the celebrity.

While Kim's legal team at LKB & Partners and his agency, Gold Medalist, remain at the forefront of official efforts to defend him, the fervent support from fans has quietly become a significant force in the unfolding case.

"The Kim Soo-hyun case has moved past its initial fever pitch and is now in the investigative stage by police and prosecution," an industry insider said.

"During this process, the fandom has been collecting evidence and offering significant support."

The gold medalist acknowledged the involvement of fans, though clarified that there is no official coordination. "We're receiving help in various ways," a senior official at the agency said.

Kim Soo-hyun has also experienced a resurgence in popularity overseas after the success of the 2024 series Queen of Tears in popular foreign markets and has been receiving love calls from many fans in Korea and abroad.

Supporters have been active across various platforms, including YouTube, Twitter, and TikTok, with some international fans contributing significant "Super Chat" donations to creators who have defended the actor.

In June, Kim's legal representatives filed defamation and false information charges against Kim Se-eui of the conservative YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute, as well as against the family of the late actress Kim Sae-ron.

The allegations stemmed from an AI-generated audio recording that claimed to reveal details of a romantic relationship between Kim and the late actress.

Though the investigation is ongoing, fans have reportedly organized opinion posts, digital evidence archives, and online campaigns in multiple languages—all aimed at presenting Kim as the victim of cyber manipulation.

"We are not blindly defending him," one anonymous fan account wrote on social media. "We are defending the truth, and we will not let this smear campaign win."

As the case develops, both law enforcement and public opinion appear increasingly shaped not just by legal filings but also by the actor's quietly mobilized digital army—acting, as many fans describe it, "silently but mightily."
