The latest "Ghostbusters 3" news is connected with the recent Sony Movies hack attacks. The people responsible for this infringement are called the "Guardians of Peace" or GOP for short. They were able to obtain some of the latest films from Sony Pictures, including "Annie" and "Fury".

GOP threatened Sony that they will reveal their top secrets if they didn't give them their demands. Just recently, there were rumors coming out that the lead actor for "Ghostbusters 3" is Ryan Gosling. The 34-year old actor recently became a dad so he is quite picky with his projects.

He is currently filming "The Nice Guys", which will be released in 2016. But after that, there isn't any confirmed movie yet. However, it seems that Sony Pictures Entertainment's co-chairman Amy Pascal is already in negotiations with his talent manager Ilene Feldman.

According to The Daily Beast, Feldman emailed Pascal saying: "Ryan absolutely loved you. Said it was like speed dating because he was late after hitting every wrong gate on the lot. Not it should turn to marriage. He really wants to do something with you."

Pascal forwarded the email to Michael De Luca of Columbia Pictures what project Ryan Gosling wanted. De Luca replied, "It's Ghostbusters according to Ilene." Another email from Columbia Pictures' Hannah Minghella surfaced online, which revealed Paul Feig's lineup for "Ghostbusters 3".

She wrote, "There is one male part Paul is planning. How insane would that be... He also wants Jennifer [Lawrence] and Emma [Stone]." Emma Stone was included in Bill Murray's list of candidates for the all-female Ghostbusters.

During an interview with David Letterman, the actor that played Peter Venkman spilled out some names of funny women he think are suited for the role. Murray said, "I think Melissa McCarthy is very funny." He also said, "I like Emma Stone...I think she's funny as heck. I think my friend Linda Cardellini could be an action hero and funny."

What do you think of Sony's new casting lineup for "Ghostbusters 3"? Do you think Ryan Gosling will be an awesome ghost hunter together with Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence?
