‘The Last: Naruto The Movie’ Made An Impressive Debut At Japan’s Box Office, 10th Naruto Film Reached 1 Billion Yen Mark For 9 Days!

"The Last: Naruto The Movie" made an impressive debut at Japan's Box Office. According to Crunchy Roll, the 10th Naruto Film hit the 1 billion yen mark for only 9 days after its opening surpassing the last motion picture "Road to Ninja" which took 17 days to reach the mark. Reportedly, the movie will be the top-grossing Naruto film expecting to earn around 2 billion yen in its entire run.

"The Last: Naruto The Movie" is the first of many works and projects for "Naruto Shin Jidai Kaimaku Project" or the "Naruto's New Era Opening Project" which celebrates the series' 15th anniversary.

According to The News Hub, Masashi Kishimoto is continuing the tale of the titular ninja in a new project that is in the works for Spring 2015. The sequel will focus on the next generation featuring the children of Naruto, Hinata, Sakura, Sasuke and others.

It has been previously reported that Hayato Date, Naruto television anime director, announced that there will be a continuation of the TV series together with a "new development" beginning 2015. Also another motion picture set for August 2015 release is in the works. According to Anime News Network, Kishimoto revealed that the new film will star Naruto and Hinata's son, Bolt. Reportedly, fans should watch out for the appearance of Sasuke's daughter Sarada.

"I conceived a story in which Bolt and [Sasuke's daughter] Sarada appears," Kishimoto, who thought of Bolt's special fighting move, said.

Bolt appeared on the 700th chapter of Naruto manga series. Reportedly, Kishimoto plans to finish his current Naruto projects instead of coming up with a brand new stuffs. It is also unknown at the moment if Bolt's sister Himawari will have a role to play in the said film.

Despite the manga's end, it appears that 2015 is an exciting year for Naruto fans.
