Henry Cavill and former girlfriend Gina Carano had an off-again, on-again relationship. Apparently, now they are in the "off" status again. The "Man of Steel" star has a new love life according to reports; however, it appears that he might still go back to the ex "Strikeforce" champ after this dating stint with new girlfriend if we are going to base it in his previous dating history. Can Henry and Gina still patch things up?

Few weeks ago, E! News reported the "Superman" star and the former MMA athlete's break up. The publication's source said that the breakup "happened a while ago." No reasons or details were elaborated.

So let's take a look on Henry's relationship with Gina before this current split. Fashion and Style reported last June that Henry and Gina met in September 2012 after Henry and his ex-fiancée ended their engagement.

"It seemed to be the perfect match, as Gina was rumored to be in the running to play Wonder Woman against Henry's Superman!" Fashion & Style reported. "They quietly split after about less than a year of dating - but soon got together again."

Before their "on-again" status, Henry had a dating period with Kaley Cuoco. The two were the hot topic ever since they started their fledging romance in early July 2013 but it appears that they may have reached the end too quickly. Henry and the "Big Bang Theory" star are said to have split after only a few dates together. The two have been wandering around Los Angeles on various romantic outings. Some of their PDA drenched appearances included holding hands while grocery shopping and a sweaty hike in the Hollywood Hills as reported in Daily Mail.

After that short dating season with Kaley, Henry and Gina rekindled their romance. According to Fashion and Style, the couple were spotted dining together in Rome October of 2013 and it appears to be the mark of their on-again status. Since then, the couple kept low-key but hit the headlines January of this year after they revealed they had adopted an Akita puppy from Big Bear Akitas.

It will not be a big surprise if Gina and Henry will be spotted together again anytime soon.
