Daily Mail reported that the couple first met in Nepal in November 2013 after remotely communicating with one another via email and Skype. They began courting for five months before getting engaged.

The couple had a very memorable first kiss that they only share as they seal their vows infront of more than 1,000 guests at the Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas on June 21. E! News reported that because of their shared Christian faith, the couple didn't hold hands until they got engaged, and Jill and Derick saved their first kiss for after their wedding vows.

Reportedly, the couple announced that they're expecting a baby last August. Jill explained why they announced the pregnancy that early to an interview with NY Post's Page Six.

"Understanding that the majority of miscarriages happen within the first trimester, and believing that every life is precious no matter how young, we decided to share our joyful news as soon as we could," Duggar, 23, told Page Six.

According to Daily Mail, Jill also revealed that she plans to give birth at their home and have the procedure done with a midwife .

"I feel like it will be way more relaxing... and having the baby at home with a midwife provides more of that personal care. It's more intimate for the couple as well, getting to be in your own environment," she said.
