Ha Jung Woo Will Debut As A Director With His Own Written Script
Actor Ha Jung Woo will make his debut as a director.
Management agency 'Fantagio' revealed on the 25th, "Ha Jung Woo has decided to direct a film based on the scenario that he wrote called 'Man And Typhoon (working title; produced by Fantagio Pictures)'."
The scenario is about Hallyu star Joon Kyu and the plane he boarded heading back to Gimpo Airport from Japan. It will be about the situations that arise between all sorts of passengers and flight attendants as the plane is in danger of crashing because of an errant typhoon. The movie will be produced by Fantagio Pictures affiliated with Fantagio.
Ha Jung Woo revealed his feelings on directing, "I have always wanted to study movies more. I wanted to approach movies as a director this time. I enjoy the entire process from the planning to writing the scenario and discussing the smallest ideas with the actors and staff."
'Man And Typhoon' will cast its main and supporting actors and begin filming in November. The movie will be released in the second half of 2013.
