‘Penny Dreadful’ Season 2 Cast Vanessa Ives Will Learn To See Her Curse As A Blessing? Watch The Newest Teaser [Video] Here!

Based on the previous teasers that Showtime shared on cast members Eva Green and Josh Hartnett's characters, "Penny Dreadful" season 2 promises new ten episodes full of dark self-discoveries with just a tiny glimmer of hope.

The official "Penny Dreadful" Facebook page previously released a teaser photo of Vanessa Ives (Green) and Ethan Chandler (Hartnett) taking comfort in each other's arms.

Green also teased fans of "a very beautiful relationship" that will reportedly form between her character and Hartnett's. Although they might have to get through some bumps along the way.

The French actress previously told E! News that a relationship with Ethan Chandler (Josh Hartnett) "is going to be very much explored." They will also "get closer" to each other.

Viewers will have to wait for "Penny Dreadful" season 2 to see what kind of connection these two cast members will exactly have. With Vanessa's demons still plaguing her, starting a relationship with anyone could cost her life.

Could Ethan be the one to help her control her powers?

After all, he was the one who eventually "exorcised" her - despite his scepticism - during her last battle with the evil entity that wanted her as a bride to rule the world.

The new video released by Showtime teases Vanessa Ive's self discovery about her inner demons.

"The time came when I learned that a curse was also something of a blessing," the troubled psychic shared through voiceover. "I learned to make use of the gifts I had been given. You do the same."

Can her curse really be seen as a blessing? Will the rest of her twisted group also come to the same conclusion as her?

According to Comic Book Movie, Showtime will be showing all season one's eight episodes for "Penny Dreadful" on New Year's eve for those who wish to catch up with the series.
