After being spotted looking all loved up earlier this month, Ed Sheeran and girlfriend Athina Andrelos seem to be closer than ever.
They have also been seen getting cosy with each other during vacations in Ibiza and Paris.
Are the adorable couple ready to settle down now?
Apparently, the “Thinking Out Loud” singer would have popped the question already if fame hadn’t butted in.
“I'm not getting to that point,” he reportedly told Yahoo Celebrity. “I think had my star stopped going up then yeah maybe."
He also added that he “could have settled down a lot quicker” if he had stayed an obscure artist in England “but with the whole world of promo and touring it's all a lot.”
As a result, settling down for life won’t be “happening anytime soon."
Although the Grammy nominated musician shared would like to get married and have kids, for now he’s still enjoying his (globe-trotting career).
"I'd like to have kids and a wife, and you know, drop them off at school and like, do normal things rather that constantly being on tour,” he shared.
He added, "If my career had plateaued and it was just England and I was just working four months in a year and then chilling out. But I've done three weeks of promo and a month tour and the album took a few years to write."
It looks like Ed Sheeran’s girlfriend Athina Andrelos would have to continue supporting the “Lego House” hitmaker’s projects and songs for now. In the meantime, she still has more time to get used to the limelight and the accompanying paparazzi attention.
Although Spotify’s most streamed artist this year loves his lady, he is also currently loving his singing career and it’s hopeful projection.
He shared, "Because I'm young now and I haven't really got a social life. This is all I do. It's the best job in the world, but I'll get to the point where there's more to life than work."
Meanwhile, the British singer can spend as much time with his lady on his planned vacation after promotion for “X.”
