Ellen DeGeneres And Portia De Rossi’s Divorce Rumors Firing Up After An Alleged Christmas Fight, ‘Scandal’ Star Fed Up With The Talk Show Host’s Controlling Ways?

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi's divorce rumors are firing up after an alleged fight during a Christmas party. According to Classicalite, the "Scandal" star was fed up with the talk show host's controlling ways trying to "shame" her "into doing as she was told."

Reportedly, a source told Star Magazine that the couple had a fight after Ellen caught Portia trying to get a chance to go outside and have cigarette during a Christmas Party at Andy Lassner's home.

"Ellen went into the kitchen to get something and saw Portia smoking...She tried to hide it but that just set Ellen off," the insider told the magazine.

According the report, the "Arrested Developer" star asked for forgiveness, but when Ellen decided to give her a nagging instead she lost her temper and answered back.

"Portia screamed at Ellen that she wasn't going to be told what to do. It got so loud that people ran in to the kitchen to make sure everything was OK...It was definitely awkward," the insider added.

However, Portia's social media posts don't show any signs of commotion between the two. Just recently, Portia posted a photo of a Christmas tree with a twin heart ornament bearing the name of the talk show host and her in her Twitter account with a joyful-sounding caption: "Happy Holidays from us to you."

Earlier in the month, the duo celebrated their 10th year dating anniversary that they also shared to their fans. The couple is sporting their natural looks as they celebrated their decade of togetherness.

Contrary to the recent buzz about their marriage the couple looks relaxed and happy in both pictures.

Earlier in November, the couple's divorce rumors re-emerged after they failed to show up in a charity event at Taito in Santa Monica. Reportedly, their absence was caused by a disagreement focusing on Portia gaining self-confidence apart from Ellen.
