While Nina Dobrev might have moved on from her split with Ian Somerhalder, news reveal that "The Vampire Diaries" actress tried to avoid her ex-boyfriend after bumping into him in a recent event. The situation became even more awkward when "The Anomaly" actor was with his new girlfriend Nikki Reed.

According to a report from Hollywood Life, the 26-year-old "The Roommate" actress seemed to be enjoying the party when she suddenly bumped into Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed during the In Style and Golden Globes party at the The Beverly Hilton.

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder reportedly did not acknowledge each other and tried to avoid one another at the event.

"Nina avoided Ian and Nikki like the plague," an insider said.

The source even added, "She stayed surrounded by some friends and kept to the opposite side of the party."

The scene most likely became too much for Nina Dobrev as his ex boyfriend Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed went full on with their PDA.

"It was really uncomfortably because Ian and Nikki were walking around like they were the prom king and queen. Nikki has been in the business forever and has so many friends in the film and music industries. She and Ian were glued at the hip and put on some serious PDA, kissing throughout the night," the source also noted.

Also at the party was Nina Dobrev's "The Vampire Diaries" co-star Chris Wood, who was rumored to be dating the Bulgarian-Canadian actress.

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder split happened in 2013 after being together for three years. The two met at the set of their hit tv show "The Vampire Diaries."

Ever since the break-up, Nina Dobrev has been linked to several Hollywood actors including Liam Hemsworth and Orlando Bloom as well as Mark Foster of Foster the People band.

Meanwhile, 26-year-old "Twilight" star Nikki Reed and "The Anomaly" actor hit it off a year after Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder's split. The two have been dating for five months now.
