The Golden Globes 2015 hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are known to poke fun at celebrities during the awards night every year. On their last year hosting the event, they spared nothing and no one, including Cecil B. DeMille Award recipient George Clooney, North Korea and the now infamous Bill Cosby.

While majority of their quips last Sunday were taken in a nonchalant air, one particular joke earned the pair some mixed reviews.

The Golden Globes 2015 hosts caused some jaws to drop when they impersonated the comedian who is currently being accused of sexually harassing 24 women.

It started as a random segue from their "Into The Woods" commentary.

"In 'Into the Woods,' Cinderella runs from her prince, Rapunzel is thrown from a tower for her prince, and Sleeping Beauty just thought she was getting coffee with Bill Cosby," Poehler said before the pair dove into some impersonations of the comedian substituting his famous pudding-pop statement with knockout pills.

According to The Atlanta, they were aiming to shock. If Jessica Chastain's dropped jaw was any indication, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler succeeded.

"This was a rape joke with a point-a statement of support for accusers who have been maligned and had their motives questioned," the publication said.

"Cosby has maintained his innocence and been convicted of nothing, but Fey and Poehler's joke asserts that even if lawsuit settlements and statutes of limitations keep the issue from ever being aired in court, regular people can hear the accusations of 24 separate women and make their own call."

TMZ reported that one of the women accusing Cosby of rape was "cheering" the Golden Globes 2015 hosts for the joke that "skewered" the legendary jokester.

"Law & Order" actress Michelle Hurd believes that these famous comedians poking fun at Cosby in an international setting "could be more powerful in swaying the public than the accusers themselves."

Did the Golden Globes 2015 hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler go too far with their Bill Cosby impersonation? Or did Cosby deserve the jokes?
