It seems like Ed Sheeran and girlfriend Athina Andrelos are all set for the future - should they decide to settle down anytime soon.

According to Contact Music, the 23-year-old British sensation recently bought a six-bedroom house in his hometown of Suffolk. The $1.4 million residence is said to be located quite near his parent's home where he actually grew up in.

The "Thinking Out Loud" singer reportedly hired a landscaper to create a man-made lake in the three-and-a-half acre property, which also includes a wine cellar, stables, a game room and a vegetable patch.

"Ed has worked hard to get to where he is so he can afford to splash out on a house, and family is really important to him," Britain news outlet, The Sun, quoted a source as saying.

"He's always seen Suffolk as the place he'll set up for the rest of his life. He knows music isn't forever," the source added.

According to the report, Sheeran also plans to live in the house "for years."

It doesn't sound like he'll be keeping the place a bachelor pad either. Should Ed Sheeran and his girlfriend Athina Andrelos decide to take the next step in their relationship, then the acoustic singer's new place would be the perfect place to settle down in.

Plus, their pets would have so much space to run around in.

The insider continued, "It's got everything he needs and is in the middle of nowhere so will give him a brilliant base to chill with girlfriend Athina Andrelos away from the madness of touring and recording."

However, The "Sing" hitmaker previously admitted that he's not ready for marriage quite yet due to his career and the craziness that comes with fame.

The "Don't" singer previously shared his plans of taking a long vacation after actively promoting his record-breaking album, "X."
