Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder split may be long over but the "The Vampire Diaries" actress seemed to have not moved on after she did not congratulate her ex-boyfriend and fiancé Nikki Reed for their engagement. Reports even told that "The Roommate" star is devastated about the news.

The 26-year-old Bulgarian-Canadian star reportedly did not congratulate the newly-engaged couple as she thinks she does not owe it to them.

"She didn't congratulate him, and she is not in a rush to do it either," an insider told The Hollywood Life.

"She is not upset because they don't owe that to her. She doesn't want to act selfish and make their engagement about her, she finds that being petty."

Another insider said that Nina Dobrev was "shocked" and "devastated" upon hearing the news.

"Nina is devastated over the engagement news. She can't believe this is all happening so fast. She is completely shocked. She heard the news from mutual friends and can only shake her head in disbelief," the source said.

"She knew Ian and Nikki were into each other but she never thought in a million years they would get married this quickly! It's a tough pill to swallow."

The source also added that she is showing how happy she is about the engagement of Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed but deep inside, "it's killing her."

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder's split happened two years ago. Last year, the "The Anomaly" actor started dating the "Twilight" star.

After the break-up, Nina Dobrev has been linked to various celebrities including Liam Hemsworth, Chace Crawford, Orlando Bloom and Dominic Howard of the Muse band.

Currently, Nina Dobrev is rumored to be dating secret boyfriend Mark Foster of Foster the People band.

Since Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder's split, "The Vampire Diaries" actress has been rumored to be planning to carve a movie career, Sugars cape said.
