There are rumors coming out that the "Mission Impossible 5" star Tom Cruise and his ex-wife Katie Holmes may be facing another courtroom drama.

Back in 2012, the actress won the custody battle for their daughter Suri Cruise and it was a very emotional time for the former couple.

"Katie was really smart about how she did this." A source told Us Weekly.

"Tom will be allowed to see Suri but there are guidelines for the visits," the insider added.

A few weeks ago, there were rumors suggesting that the 52-year old actor spent Christmas with his former wife and their 8-year old daughter. He even allegedly got in trouble with the Church of Scientology for seeing them.

However, Holmes' representative said that these rumors aren't true.

"Katie did not spend Christmas afternoon with Tom Cruise. She and Suri spent Christmas afternoon visiting children at a local hospital in L.A." Her rep revealed to PEOPLE.

Now, new rumors are saying that Cruise and his ex-wife are about to battle in the courtroom again.

Celeb Dirty Laundry reported that the 36-year old actress is trying to get more custody payments from the "Mission Impossible 5" star because she felt like she's carried all the responsibility on her own when it comes to raising their daughter while Tom Cruise spends more time with his work.

"Katie is really upset... she feels she's left to do all the heavy lifting when it comes to parenting Suri." An alleged source said.

The website also reported that there's a clause in their divorce that allows the "Miss Meadows" star to ask for more money if circumstances have significantly changed since they signed the document three years ago.

"Holmes is not afraid of him anymore." A separate source told In Touch (via Fashion & Style),

"She is a different person since their divorce, with more strength to stand up against him in court." The insider added.

If Katie Holmes wins the case, then Tom Cruise should prepare giving some of his earnings from the upcoming "Mission Impossible 5" to his daughter.

Thankfully, there's no need for the actor to do that since the actress' representative cleared up all the rumors as reported by Gossip Cop. Her rep explained that she has no plans to make war with her former husband.
