The Tower' is Still No.1 at The Box Office.

Korean movie 'The Tower' is still going strong after a week of its release.

The film stayed at no.1 despite the big competition it had with Hollywood blockbusters 'Les Miserables' and 'The Hobbit'

The movie recorded a total of 873,221 views last weekend. And In its second weekend the movie recorded over two million tickets sales. In its first day of released which was on Dec 24th, the movie had 430,000 views.

'The Tower' starring Kim Sang Kyung, Son Ye Jin, and Sol Kyung Gu is about Lee Dae Ho (Kim Sang Kyung) who is the manager of "Tower Sky", Seo Yoon Hee (Son Ye Jin) the manager of the restaurant on "Tower Sky",and fire fighter Kang Young Kee (Sol Kyung Gu). The CEO of 'Tower Sky" decided to hold a Christmas party for the employees on Christmas Eve. The party was secured with helicopters, when one them crushed into the building, setting it on fire. Lee Dae Ho tries to save his daughter Ha Na, Seo Yoon Hae and others. Lee Dae Ho and Kang Young Kee (Sol Kyung Gu) will work together despite not like each other.
