Followers think Miley Cyrus is dissing Selena Gomez through her Instagram. Did she mock Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriend with the sexy photo she uploaded last week?
According to Hollywood Life, the "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker threw some major shade at the "Heart Wants What It Wants" singer by copying her latest sexy selfie.
Gomez' photo showed her wearing a black bikini, pouting her lips and basking in sunshine. She captioned the shot, "Swim, shower, script then studio [emoticons] have a great day erbody #face."

About a week later, the Miley Cyrus uploaded a photo that somewhat mimicked the "Love Song" singer's earlier post.
Wearing a black bra and copying Gomez' pout, Cyrus captioned the shot, "Do yiew tink if I push muah t*****s up I'll get mo followahhhzzzz? #shouldigrowmyhairout? #koomkoomquah @derrellbullock @twinkleswinkle @adamleber @anderssonjj @chelseahandler @baddiewinkle."

After the "We Can't Stop" singer made the picture public, the hashtag #SelenaPleaseMeetMileySheLovesYou started trending on Twitter.
According to Cambio, Gomez threw some shade right back. She posted a photo of herself sticking her tongue out, which fans know is the latter's trademark look.
Of course, the twerk queen retaliated with a line from Justin Bieber's song "Beauty And The Beat."
"'Bunz out. Weiner. But I gotta keep my eye for Selener." - @NICKIMINAJ (that is a direct quote)," the infamous musician posted on Twitter.
The question, however, is why Miley Cyrus dissed Selena Gomez on social media in the first place?
According to Hollywood Life, the public shading started because of something Cyrus said about Gomez during Cody Simpson's 18th birthday party.
"Miley and Selena got at it at Cody's birthday party," an insider reportedly told the gossip site. "Miley said something about Cody having to have two different birthday parties in order to cater to Selena who didn't want to have any run-ins with Justin."
The source further revealed that by the end of the night, "word got back to Miley that Selena thought she was always trying to be the center [of] attention." She also thought that the "Adore You" singer was trying to stir things up by mentioning Justin Bieber.
The "Come & Get It" singer also felt like Patrick Schwazenegger's girlfriend had "always had a grudge against her since they were kids and thinks it's immature and mean."
