Tom Clancy's The Division Release Date PS4, Xbox One 'A Long Shot?' Developers Doing What They Can To Deliver A Great Game

Tom Clancy's The Division release date for PS4 and Xbox One is far from ready, new reports suggested.

According to Venture Capital Post, "a source within the game development team revealed that the 2015 release might be a long shot as they still have not yet perfected some of the game's components. On a lighter side, the source added that the developers have been pouring in additional resources to make the game great for the anticipating players and longtime Tom Clancy fans."

But as some fans previously noted, no ambitious title such us The Division has it the easy way.  At one point, roadblocks need to be faced and dealt with in order to give gamers what they have promised.

Despite the unconfirmed release date, fans are very much excited to get their hands on the new release that will reportedly give players the ultimate RPG experience.

In an interview with IGN, Ubisoft art director Rodrigo Cortes shared:

"We want to show gamers the game they will end up playing. We don't want to sell a fantasy."

"But it's not a shooter with some RPG stats tacked on. It's actually a proper RPG from the very beginning. There's deep progression when it comes to loot, gear, and levels and you'll be able to customize every skill, do exactly what you want, and choose roles. So that's probably the biggest communication challenge. We want to make clear to everyone that it's an RPG," he added.

Meanwhile, there was a ray of hope when Ubisoft Canada teased about the possible Tom Clancy's The Division release date for PS4 and Xbox One on their Facebook page.

"We've got two Clancy games coming this year... Which one are YOU most excited for? Rainbow Six Siege or The Division?" The Facebook post read.

The post however still failed to mention any exact dates as of the moment.
