iPhone 5C Vs Nexus 5: Hardware, Display. Operating Systems, Battery, Camera, And Price Comparison!

We compare the Apple iPhone 5C against the Nexus 5 to know which of these smartphones is worth the purchase.

According to the specs from GSMArena, the Apple iPhone 5C is equipped with a 4 inch LED-backlit IPS LCD screen, that can render a resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels at 326 ppi pixel density. The Apple smartphone's dimensions are 124.4 x 59.2 x 9 mm, and weighs around 132 grams.

The LG Nexus 5 has a bigger True HD IPS screen at 4.95 inches, that can render a better resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, and better pixel density at 445 ppi. Its protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3, weighs 130 grams, and its dimensions are 137.9 x 69.2 x 8.6 mm.

The iPhone 5C is equipped with a Dual-core 1.3 GHz Swift processor, powered by a Apple A6 CPU, and a PowerVR SGX 543MP3 for graphics. The Apple smartphone has three variants of internal memories of 16, 32, and 64GB, with 1GB of RAM. Its operating system is the iOS 7, which can be upgraded in to the iOS 8.1.3.

The Nexus 5 on the other hand, is equipped with a Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400, with a Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 chipset, and an Adreno 330 GPU. It has 2GB of RAM, and has two variants of internal memories at 16, and 32GB. The LG device runs on the Android OS, v5.0 (Lolipop).

The Fuse Joplin adds that the LG Nexus 5 is equipped with a non-removable Li-Po battery at 2300 mAh capacity, and last 17 hours and stand by time of 300 hours on 3G. The iPhone 5C on the other hand, has 1510 mAh battery that last 10 hours in 3G.

The Apple iPhone 5C is worth around $200, while the LG Nexus 5 cost $383.
