Nina Dobrev And Ian Somerhalder Getting Too Close? 'Vampire Diaries' Actress 'Disgusted' With Ex-BF's Engagement To Nikki Reed?

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder's relationship has long been over, but rumors are starting to brew that Ian's ex is definitely not happy with his engagement to sweetheart Nikki Reed.

Celeb Dirty Laundry mentioned that Nina is "disgusted" with the engagement and the couple's PDA moments that scatter on the internet. The site continued to mention that both Ian and Nikki are "promoting" their relationship to stay relevant in the business. With no new or upcoming projects to boast about, the site claimed that the engaged duo have succumbed to just use their engagement to be talked about.

"As such, having both of them featured in People Magazine - making out and flashing Nikki's huge engagement ring - makes complete sense for their brand strategy. I mean, they've never pretended to be a demure, on-the-low couple, have they? The minute they started dating, they've arranged for paparazzi photo-ops and strategic picture opportunities, all the while ramping up their PDA every time they stepped out together," the site mentioned.

However, despite the engagement leaving a bad taste in Nina's mouth, new reports are claiming that she and Ian are getting close again. How close? Tabloids are saying that Nikki should watch out her man, as the "Vampire Diaries" actress get snatch him right back anytime she wants.

Nina has yet to give any details about the said rumors. In previous interviews, however, it looked like she's pretty much tired with all the speculations going around about her dating life.

"But honestly, I need to get, like, a steady boyfriend so that people can stop speculating because it's getting annoying. I have a lot of girlfriends, they're all texting me at once [and] it's just like, my thumbs are starting to hurt," she told HuffPost Live.

"I try not to read any of that stuff, but [it's frustrating] when you start getting text messages from your friend with a link to something and they'll be like, 'Oh my God, are you really dating this person?' And I'm like, 'Yeah, I talked to them last night for a second,' or 'Yeah, I saw them at this party,' and then all of a sudden you're dating somebody."
