Did Uma Thurman Get Plastic Surgery? ‘Kill Bill’ Star Blames New Makeup For The Face Change! ‘I Know I Look Weird’

Many people were surprised when they saw Uma Thurman during the premiere of her new show on NBC entitled "The Slap."

The face of the 44-year old actress looked different and some even didn't recognize that it was her. According to Mail Online, her forehead was suspiciously smooth and her face was puffy plus she has an extremely tight smile.

The "Kill Bill" star's new look started out rumors that she got plastic surgery and some experts agreed to that.

"It looks as though she's had a recent lower blepharoplasty treatment, also known as eye bag removal. She isn't wearing any eyeliner or mascara, probably in order to avoid infection from the new surgery," Mark Norfolk of Transform Cosmetic Surgery told the website.

The clinical director further explained the other procedures that Uma Thurman could have undergone.

"I would say that she's probably had a recent course of strong chemical peels as well as some dermal filler injected into the cheeks and nasal labial area; which is all contributing to this swollen-looking finish as it can have this effect immediately after undergoing these treatments," Norfolk added.

The star of "Pulp Fiction" finally speaks up about the plastic surgery rumors claiming that it was her makeup that caused her face change as reported by FOX News.

"I know I look weird!" Uma Thurman told television host Savannah Guthrie "I don't know, I guess nobody liked my makeup," she added.

Her makeup artist Troy Surratt attests to that and explained why he did that kind of makeup on Ethan Hawke's ex-wife. "We experimented with the makeup," Suratt admitted to Refinery29.com. "We did a much stronger brow and a bold lip for a French sort of feel. The way I shaded her eyebrows with the pencil, I created an uplifting effect. Then, I finished with a shimmering, silky-beige shadow on her lids, and went with no mascara at all," he explained.

Despite the plastic surgery rumors, Uma Thurman remained cool about it.

"I've been doing this for years and years and years -- people say things nice and they say things mean and it's like whatever," said the actress. "You take the good with the bad," she added.
