On February 15, Korean outdoor luxury goods company Millet released featuring Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye. It is one of the first photo shoots since the pair completed the filming of “Pinocchio.”
The pictorial was shot for the upcoming spring line from Millet. The actors are featured with lightweight jackets for warmer weather and backpacks.
Both stars lend their youthful appearance to the outdoor line, providing exuberance which is conveys health and fitness.
The actors are depicted in contrasting outfits, as well as, similar clothes which lend themselves to the popular couples look. Couples coordinates are common within Korean fashion and is a unique trend which has made its way into Chinese style.
The functionality of this style is depicted in the photos, in addition to the synchronicity of the coordinates. Since their appearance in “Pinocchio,” the stars make a believable presentation as an on-screen couple.
Although, both actors were considerably popular prior to “Pinocchio,” the program sparked renewed interest in their career trajectory. The drama successfully merged a tale of investigative journalism with an unique, romantic subplot through the creative scripts of Park Hye Ryun.
“Pinocchio” concluded on January 15 with 10.6% ratings nationwide. The program sold was sold for broadcast to the Chinese market through Youku and Tudou at a record breaking price of $250,000 per episode.
Lee Jong Suk has embarked on a fan meeting tour throughout China, since the completion of the popular program.
Park Shin Hye has participated in numerous endorsement and magazine shoots. She will also appear in the upcoming film, “Beauty Inside.”
