'Frozen 2' Plot, Cast And Release Date Rumors: Kristen Bell Confirms Sequel Is A No-Go; Sequel Not Happening Anytime Soon

Another cast member has spoken and shared "Frozen 2" plot, cast and release date details in a recent interview.

Kristen Bell who plays Anna in the hit Disney animation confirmed just recently that the highly anticipated sequel will not be happening anytime soon.

"They haven't green-lighted it yet," she said, Bustle reported. "There is so much speculation, mostly because people have wanted it so bad. They've read into quotes or otherwise. They definitely have not green-lit it. I would really hope they do, as all of our cast members would love to be involved. We're twiddling our thumbs and trying to nudge them in the right direction."

It surely looks like fans need to "Let It Go" for a while!

Disney fans have been clamouring for the sequel to happen. But it looks like the House of Mouse has not yet decided to move forward with another "Frozen" full length movie. Apart from the short called "Frozen Fever," and the Frozen books, Disney might not be inclined to make the follow-up movie anytime soon.

In a separate interview, Kristin's co-star, Idina Menzel, who plays Elsa in the movie, has retracted her statement that "Frozen 2" is underway. The popular stage actress told The Times that her previous statement was based on her own assumptions and not on facts.

"Apparently I spoke out of turn. I just assumed because it was so successful there'd be a sequel," she said.
