Bobby Brown's daughter Bobbi Kristina has been in a medically induced coma since she was found unconscious Jan. 31, and updates about her condition are slow to trickle in to the public.

According to CNN, sources close to the family said that her breathing tube has been removed by the doctors at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta as they try to "slowly lift her coma."

Reportedly, the R & B singer's only daughter with the late Whitney Houston will be "ventilated through a hole in her throat." Dr. Sanjay Gupta, CNN's chief medical correspondent said that it is a standard procedure that will lower the risk of infection.

"This is an indication that the patient will need this for weeks and months to come, as opposed to hours and days," said Dr. Gupta.

Meanwhile, rumors suggested that Bobbi Kristina's families are disputing about what to do next, given her fragile condition.

"The peace that existed a week ago is gone now because you have several family members wanting to take the life support off and others, mainly Bobby Brown, saying he just won't do it, and the decision ultimately rests with him," a source told FOX411.

"I'm hearing there is so much fighting to the point that Cissy (Whitney's mother) hasn't been to the hospital in a couple of days at least. It's gotten ugly again and the truce has ended between the Browns and the Houstons," the source added.

According to Fox News, quite a few reports about tension from the two families appeared since Bobbi Kristina was sent to the hospital last month including a feud at an Atlanta hotel.

Reportedly, a criminal investigation is currently being conducted by the Roswell police in relation to what happened to Bobby Brown's daughter.

CNN noted the similarity between how Bobbi Kristina and her late mother was found. Reportedly, Whitney Houston was also seen lifeless in a bathtub. Her death was said to be caused by accidental drowning contributed by heart disease and cocaine use.
