It looks like the release date for Apple's new tablet device, the iPad Mini 4 has been revealed along with its rumored new features and specs.

According to International Business Times, the Apple iPad Mini 4 is speculated to be released sometime in April 2015, while a separate report from News Everyday allegedly claimed that the Apple tablet will be out on June this year.

IBT adds that iPad Mini 3 had minor improvements over its predecessor and enjoyed a fair amount of success, however, several people were not pleased about the device's minor changes, and it received negative feedbacks from critics and gadget users alike.

The News Everyday reports that Apple will also launch a much larger version of it iPad called the iPad Pro or the iPad Air Pro alongside the iPad Mini 4. It is an interesting strategy for Apple release two tablet devices at the same month, but perhaps this could be a good plan for them since they will showcase other rumored devices such as the iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Mini, and the iPhone 7 in April this year.

According to Gospel Herald, the iPad Mini 4 is equipped with a new Apple A8X processor which is present in the Apple iPad Air 2. The website quoted that "If Apple is willing to make a new product and number identification for the simple addition of Touch ID, then it will certainly do the same for the bump up to the much more powerful A8 chip."

Gospel Herald adds that the iPad Mini 4 will have a anti-reflective coating on the laminated screen just like the iPad Air 2. Although the size of the screen is not yet mentioned, Gospel Herald speculated that if Apple were to go bigger on the iPad Min 4, it will have a screen size of 7.9 inches just like predecessor, or if they go smaller, then it is measured at 5.5 inches just like the iPhone 6 Plus.

PC Advisor reports that the iPad Mini 4 is equipped with 2GB of RAM, a Retina Display, an improved Touch ID, and an Apple Pay Integration. IBT commented that the new CPU and RAM capacity are expected to improve the battery performance of the iPad Mini 4 when its released in the market.

Gospel Herald reports that the price range of the Apple iPad Mini 4 is set at $399 for the wi-fi version, while the cellular version cost around $529.
