'Persona 5' Release Date For The PS4 To Be Announced At E3 2015 Rumored As Atlus Explains New Game Details, Protagonist, And 'Persona' Summons!

It looks Atlus will reveal game details and possible release date for the upcoming Persona title, "Persona 5" for the PlayStation consoles.

Atlus has already showcased the full new trailer of "Persona 5" during the "Persona Super Live 2015" "Persona Super Live 2015" event in Nihon Budokan a few weeks ago.

According to AnimeNewsNetwork Persona 5 director Katsura Hashino that the main characters of the game will take on the role of "Phantom Thieves" as Hashino admitted he was nervous that the fans might not like it because its similar to Lupin III.

Venture Capital adds that Atlus promised a new advanced graphics features that have been developed on a specialized in-house engine, and the website revealed new game details about the Persona 5's plot and its main hero.

According to Gematsu (via ArcadeSushi), the Dengeki PlayStation published a feature which contains interesting information about the game. The website says that the protagonist is inspired by the legendary thief Arsene Lupin or Lupin III, and will have an attitude and charm similar to Clark Kent and Carmen Sandiego.

Gematsu quoted the plot details of game which says "a great darkness is taking hold of Shibuya (a district of Tokyo) and Shujin Academy (a play on "shuujin," the Japanese word for prisoner). The Aizen-looking, out of towner protagonist steals at night in order to survive since he lives alone. After meeting some friends and encountering this unexplained darkness, the protagonist and his friends will don masks and noir thief outfits in order to set things right while maintaining their anonymity."

Gematsu further adds the new gameplay details such as a new social link called "Cooperation" which acts as a buddy system in the game, and "Sneak" which allows players to utilize stealth in certain situations.

There are also returning game features that are present in previous titles like "Lesson" which the protagonist goes to school, and "All-Out-Attack", which lets him and his friends gang up and beat'up enemy monsters together. Gematsu also revealed the Protagonist's Persona named "Arsene," and is described has having black wings and a red getup.

According to Crossmaps, Persona 5 will launch in Spring 2015 for the PS3 and PS4 consoles, however, Product Review.net allegedly claimed that Atlus might announce the game's release date at the Electronic Entertainment Expo this year.
