Bobbi Kristina Sedated Back To Coma After Experiencing Seizures, Recent Rumor Suggests Bobby Brown’s Daughter Shows ‘Absolutely No Signs Of Life Lately’

Bobbi Kristina has been in the hospital for about four weeks now since she was found unconscious in a bathtub last Jan. 31. Her family keeps on searching for signs of improvements  as they wait for her to respond to medications given to her.

According to PEOPLE, after doctors tried to remove her medically induced coma, Bobby Brown's daughter has been sedated back into it after suffering seizures. The publication consulted a medical expert who said that seizures might not be "all bad news."

"Seizures indicate that the patient is not brain dead," Dr. Eli Zimmerman, Neurologist of Massachusetts General Hospital said. 

"There has to be some brain activity," he added.

However, the Neurologist who is not part of the medical team treating Bobbi Kristina said that is already a "long time" for a person to be in coma. 

"Patients are sedated - put into a medically-induced coma - because doctors want the brain to have to do as little as possible. This way, the brain can heal," Dr. Zimmerman explained the medical reason behind keeping a person in medically-induced coma.

"The medications that are used to sedate the patient also prevent seizures," he added. "If the brain has been irritated by injury, it may go into seizures once the medication is stopped. In a situation like that, we may introduce medication for seizures that are not so severe." 

However, an insider told NY Post's Page Six that Bobby Brown's daughter is not having any more seizures and shows "absolutely no signs of life lately."

"It is really on Bobby Brown's shoulders to let her go in peace," the source told Page Six.

The insider also noted that even Cissy Houston, Bobbi Kristina's grandmother, also agreed to the idea of "removing her life's support."

"It is something that the Houston and Brown [families] had agreed to do as early as February 11, but Bobby Brown reneged," the source told Page Six.

Last month's incident where Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in the bathtub, just like her mother Whitney Houston, is currently being investigated by the authorities.
