Samsung Galaxy S6 Release Date Set On April 2015 Confirmed? New Features And Price Details For Latest Samsung Handset Revealed Online!
Good news to all smartphone and gadget enthusiast as the possible release date of the Samsung Galaxy S6 has been revealed along with its new features and price details.
Samsung introduced its latest smartphone - the Samsung Galaxy S6 - at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona, Spain, along with its other variant - the Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge. Tech Times has reported that Samsung wasted no time showing off the Samsung Galaxy S6's improvements in terms of specs, hardware, and features.
According to Tech Times, the Samsung Galaxy S6 sports an octa-core processors with an impressive Quad HD display. The screen size of the Samsung Galaxy S6 measures around 5.1 inches and its Super AMOLED display can render a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels with a pixel density of 577 ppi.
Tech 2 reports that the Samsung Galaxy S6 is equipped with Exynos 7 Octa-core processor which contains two quad-core processors clocked at 2.1 GHz and 1.5GHz. It has a RAM capacity of 3GB, and has three variants of internal memory; 32, 64, and 128 GB, but sadly it does not have a microSD card slot to increase its internal storage. Its software runs on the Android 5.0 Lollipop, but GottaBeMobile reportedly claimed that the handset will have the 5.0.1 or 5.0.2 version of the Android software soon.
GottaBeMobile further adds that Samsung Galaxy S6 is equipped with a 2,550 mAh battery as Samsung claims that it has a impressive wireless charging speed, which is 1.5 times faster than its predecessor providing almost 4 hours of usage after only 10 minutes of charging. It has a 16 MP rear camera along with a 5 MP front shooter. Its camera features includes Tracking AF, Auto Real-time HDR (Front & Rear), f/1.9 aperture, Low Light Video (Front & Rear), High Clear Zoom, IR Detect White Balance, Virtual Shot, Slow Motion video, Pro Mode and Selective Focus.
The Samsung handset has the following dimensions of 143.4 x 70.5 x 6.8 mm, weighs around 138 grams, and it comes in different colors of white pearl, black sapphire, gold Platinum, and blue Topaz, Tech Times reports.
According to Tech Times, the Samsung Galaxy S6 will launch on April 10 as GottaBeMobile reports that the Samsung Galaxy S6 32 GB variant will cost around $849, while the 64 GB variant is around $963, and the 128 GB variant is at $1,706.
