Selected Retail Partners Gave Star Wars Battlefront ‘Superb Ovation?' Game Play Footage Might Be Released Soon
"Star Wars Battlefront" has revealed little information about the gameplay. Since its release date is getting near, DICE left a promise of delivering the best out of EA's first-person gameplay but has not given a glimpse of its much awaited teaser.
The gap might be cut short for gamers this coming weeks as "Star Wars Battlefront" gameplay footage will likely be publicized soon. According to craveonline.com, the video material will be "unveiled at GDC this week, following a behind-closed-doors airing of it to GameStop employees."
Gamereactor.eu noted that the footage received a "superb ovation" from some selected retail partners in a private event. Reportedly, the company's CCO Peter Moore, former VP of Microsoft's Interactive Entertainment Business division and current head of EA Sports took this to Twitter.

A previous report stated that EA has announced the game's December release date, which coincides with JJ Abrams' "Star Wars Episode 7."
A lot of gamers are expecting update from "Star Wars Battlefront" developers but EA and DICE appear to be cagey about it yet. Previous reports suggested that the company is sticking to first-person gameplay as no official announcement has been made about a third-person perspective.
"Now, we at DICE are hard at work creating the best Star Wars shooter of all time, to carry that legacy into the future with 'Star Wars Battlefront,'" Niklas Fegraeus, DICE design director stated. "We're building the game that we as fans want to play."
"Star Wars Battlefront" has been slated for winter 2015 release for PlayStation 4.
According to masterherald.com, the schedule was confirmed after "Battlefront 3" has been listed in Sony's official blog in a published list of all games coming to the console this year.
"Star Wars Battlefront" is also expeted to be released in Xbox One and PC platforms.
