'Suicide Squad Movie' Updates: Deathstroke, Vixen, Blockbuster, And Multiplex To Join The Roster Rumored As Jared Leto Teased New Joker Appearance [PHOTOS]

It looks like new updates for David Ayer's super villain movie the "Suicide Squad" have been revealed as new characters are added and a possible Jared Leto's look as the Joker.

According to Daily Mail, Oscar winner and "30 Seconds To Mars" front man Jared Leto sported a new look at for his role as the Joker in the "Suicide Squad" movie. The website claimed that Leto's Joker character is a bit different from the other film versions of character portrayed by Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger.

Screenrant reported before that Ayer teased comic book fans about Leto's transformation when he posted two photos of him on Twitter page cutting off his long locks.

Leto described his version of the Clown Prince of Crime as a "beautiful disaster" and that he will take on a different feel separating them from both Nicholson and Ledger.

"The opportunity to take on this nearly Shakespearean character — that’s what graphic novels and comic books are becoming, right? [He's] this beautiful disaster of a character — what a big challenge,” Leto said to Billboard.

Leto also posted a photo of his new look in Instagram and fans have noticed that he looks very similar to his previous character Angel Face from the movie "Fight Club".

Screenrant further reports that Leto's version of the Joker in the"Suicide Squad" movie, rumored to be based on Frank Miller's graphic novel "The Dark Knight Returns," is older, more poised, more effeminate, and was illustrated as a much stockier and broad-shouldered than the mainstream version.

Another theory shared by the website is that this Joker could be very muscular and has a huge tattoo on his back similar to Miller's other work "All-Star Batman & Robin" comics.

In other news, four DC characters are rumored to join the "Suicide Squad" movie and Screenrant reports that Vixen, Multiplex, and Blockbuster are being considered to join the roster.

JoBlo (via Screenrant) reports that Slade Wilson a.k.a. Deathstroke is also rumored to be added in the movie as Jason Clarke (Terminator: Genysis) and Joe Manganiello (Sabotage) are being targeted for the role.

The "Suicide Squad" movie is part of the DC Cinematic Universe and the film will be released in theaters on Aug. 5, 2016.
