Good news anime fans as the first trailer of the Haruhi Suzumiya spin off, "The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan" has been revealed along with a new opening theme song.
According to AnimeNewsNetwork, the official website of the Haruhi Suzumiya spin off began streaming its first teaser that features the return of some of its beloved characters like Yuki Nagato, Kyon, Mikuru Asahina, Ryouko Asakura and Tsuruya.
Although the teaser was quite short, it highlights some of the scene that anime fans would like to see in the anime.
The plot of "The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan" revolves around a version of Yuki Nagato from "The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya" anime movie, who is shy and slightly introverted teenager rather than the original emotionless alien pretending to be a school girl that viewers knew and loved.
She is also the president and the sole member of the literature club, and that the S.O.S Brigade was never formed since Haruhi Suzumiya did not enroll in North High.
AnimeNewsNetwork further adds that teaser also contains a preview of the anime's opening song called "Fure Fure Mirai" (Hooray Falling Future) by the North High School Literature Club Girls, which happens to be the female cast of original Haruhi Suzumiya anime as the single will go on sale on April 29, 2015.
