Five K-Drama Actresses Who Are BFFs With Other Actresses

K-dramas actresses are often cast in roles where they have to compete against each other for the leading man. But in real life, some actresses meet on set or in other settings and remain best friends.

Yoo In Na, who recently starred in "My Secret Hotel," likes to spend her free time with her best friend actress and singer IU, who can soon be seen in "Producers." The actresses worked together in the weekend drama "You're The Best Lee Soon Shin." Yoo In Na has said that IU was there for her when times were tough and comforted her. That made all the difference.

"We both have the assurance that we will be best friends for the rest of our lives," said Yoo In Na. "It's really rare to meet a friend like that in the world of entertainment."

But it's not as rare as you might imagine. Quite a few popular actresses have maintained friendships with other actresses.

Yoon Eun Hye is a good example. She met Son Ye Jin when Yoon did a cameo in "Personal Taste," the drama that Son co-starred in with Lee Min Ho. They are both BFFs with Gong Hyo Jin, who will soon also appear in "Producers."

On an episode of the Cultwo show, Gong described Son Ye Jin as an actress who is "always honest and really hilarious."

Son Ye Jin is also unnis with Moon Chae Won. In a TV Report article, Moon Chae Won talked about how they became close because they have the same management company.

Who else does Moon Chae Won hang out with? Moon Geun Young and Han Hyo Joo are her other best friends.

Gu Hye Sun also has a few celebrity girlfriends. She's close to actress Seo Hyun Jin, who was featured in her short film "The Madonna."

"If you have her as a friend then you don't need other friends," said Seo Hyun Jin. "You can talk to her about everything."

Gu Hye Sun is so close to actress Lee Bo Young that she was asked to sing at her wedding to "Kill Me, Heal Me" star Ji Sung.

Park Shin Hye is also a loyal friend to some fellow female k-celebs. Her best friend is actress Lee Eun Song, who married k-pop icon Seo Taiji. They met on the set of the 2005 KBS drama "Sharp 1" and have been close ever since. Lately she has also become friendly with actress Kang So Ra, last seen in the drama "Misaeng." They became friends when they discovered they were born on the same day. A mutual friend introduced them but they both also worked with Lee Jong Suk. Park Shin Hye co-starred with him in "Pinocchio," while Kang So Ra worked with him in "Doctor Stranger."

Park Shin Hye is also close to actress Park Se Young, who is also represented by S.A.L.T. Entertainment. The friends like to go camping and ride bicycles together.
