"Girl Meets World" season 2 spoilers revealed that the highly anticipated show will be making a comeback this May.
The first season of Disney Channel's "Girl Meets World" may have just ended, but the network has confirmed that season 2 of the show is just around the corner. The spinoff to "Boy Meets World" is expected to return on May 11 with episodes following on May 12 to May 15.
"Girl Meets World" season 2 spoilers from Fashion and Style state that in the show's latest season, Maya and Riley navigate through a new year at John Quincy Adams Middle School.
They attempt to transfer out of Cory's class in order to become more independent, but they don't get exactly what they had hoped for. The show's executive producer Michael Jacobs has stated that, "Riley's world will grow this season."
"Bigger adventures and wonderful challenges await her and Maya as they come of age in the confusing world that is eighth grade, their last stop before high school. We are grateful to our season one audience. We know you'll love season two, and watching us grow," he added.
A lot of fan favorites from the original "Boy Meets World" are set to make appearances on the show.
Will Friedle will also be making his first appearance on "Girl Meets World" on May 15. Angela broke up with Shawn in season 7 of "Boy Meets World" when she went to Europe just as Shawn was about to propose.
Amid all of the returning alums on the show, Riley's brother Auggie says goodbye to a close friend. Cloris Leachman is set to guest star in this season of the show and it is rumored that she will be the character to bid farewell.
