Which Vampire Drama Are You Craving?

Viewers thirsting after a new vampire drama now have two to look forward to.

Aiming for a July airdate is "Night Strolling Scholar," also known as "Scholar Who Walks The Night" This vamp drama stars Lee Jun Ki, Lee Yoo Bi, Kim So Eun, and TVXQ's Max Changmin and is set to follow "Warm and Cozy."

Lee Jun Ki plays the vampire Kim Sung Yeol in this historical vampire drama. To disguise his vampire ways he pretends to be a scholar and only wanders around at night. Once a happy prince, he is in fact as a scholar as he uses his immortality to study the human race.

Lee Jun Ki last had a hit with the historical drama "The Joseon Gunman" and before that impressed audiences in the thriller "Two Weeks."

Lee Yoo Bi plays Jo Yang Seon.  Jo's family went bankrupt so she dresses up like a boy to sell books. That's how she meets the night strolling scholar. Lee Yoo Bi played a reporter along with Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye in "Pinocchio."

Rounding out the love triangle is Max Changmin as Prince Lee Yoon. He is not the careless playboy that he seems to be. Max Changmin last appeared in the 2014 drama "Mimi."

Kim So Eun, last seen in "The Lair Game," plays Hye Ryeong.

But you don't have to wait until July to satisfy your craving for beautiful vampires. "Orange Marmalade" starts on May 15. This modern-day vamp drama's younger cast includes Yeo Jin Goo and AOA's Seolhyun

Based on a Naver webtoon of the same name, "Orange Marmalade" focuses on a fantasy world where humans and vampires co-exist, but vampires are considered second-class citizens. As a result many vampires pretend to be human.

Kim Seol Hyun plays Baek Ma Ri, a shy teen who successfully hides her vampire identity, until she accidentally bites the school's most popular boy played by 17-year-old actor Yeo Jin Goo.

The actress who last played Lee Min Ho's stepsister in "Gangnam Blues," makes a pretty vampire so she may turn her accidental victim into a boyfriend.

Yeo Jin Goo, last seen in the drama "Potato Star 2013QR3," plays Jung Jae Min, the popular boy  while CNBLUE's Lee Jong Hyun, last seen in the web drama "One Sunny Day," plays Han Shi Hoo.

The drama also stars Kang Han Byul, Song Jong Ho and Lee Il Hwa.
