“The Horse Healer” To Air Throughout Asia

The MBC hit drama will be aired in many different countries in Asia.

The producer company of the drama, revealed on March 8th, that the drama has been sold to Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, The Philippines, Turkey, Singapore and Myanmar.

What is gathering more attention is that the fact, that drama will be aired in channel NHK, which is one of the biggest public broadcast channels in Japan.

The fact that the drama was picked up, even when the drama has not ended, is great a accomplishment.

This is due, because Director Lee Byung Hoon's reputation as the best historical drama director. Dramas like Dong Yi, Dae Jang Geum, and Yi San which he directed were aired around Asia with great popularity.

According to the production company, “Director Lee Byung Hoon's dramas like Dong Yi, Dae Jang Geum, and Yi San has been a hit around Asia. This time around, he proved to be historical drama's best director, as his stands in the middle of the Hallyu Wave.”

Meanwhile, the drama was extended by one episode, in order to fulfill its original drama schedule, and will come to its conclusion on March 26th.
