"You Who Rolled in Unexpectedly" to "My Daughter Seo Young" Up to IU to Keep the Record
Will IU be able to take on the roll of Lee Bo Young in the new drama "You're the Best Lee Soon Shin"?
The storyline will be about a mother and daughter who mature and learn together. IU and Ko Doo Shim will appear in the new KBS weekend drama, "You're the Best Lee Soon Shin".
This drama that has been scheduled to air its first episode on March 9 will feature a story about a girl trying to find happiness with her mother after the death of her father.
One theme that will be present in this drama is the mother and daughter relationship that matures and grows together. Jung Ae (Ko Doo Shim) loves her daughter Lee Soo Shin (IU) more specially compared to her other children because she had been abandoned by her biological mother when she was a baby. When her husband dies, Jung Ae finds out that Song Mi Ryung (Lee Mi Sook) is Lee Soon Shin's birth mother. She begins to panic, not knowing how to handle the situation.
"You're the Best Lee Soon Shin" will be about three people who forgive each other with love and become complete as a family again. It will be a new direction to take for a drama but anticipation is building up to see what kind of routes this drama will take.
Another story that will be featured is the love life of the three daughters.
Lee Soon Shin and Shin Joon Ho (Jo Jung Suk) meet for business when she becomes interested in becoming an actor trainee. They fall in love in the process of working together. After Shin Joon Ho meets Lee Soon Shin, he begins to look back at his life from a different perspective. The focus of the love story in this drama will be the story of Lee Soon Shin and Shin Joon Ho. The love stories of Lee Soon Shin's older sisters will also be featured. First sister Lee Hye Shin will be played by actress Son Tae Young and Lee Yoo Shin will be played by Yoo In Na.
These three sisters are expected to be characters women in their 20s and 30s can relate to. At first, IU will have trouble finding a job while Son Tae Young will face problems as a mother in her 30s. Yoo In Na will be the sister in her late 20s focusing on her career.
