The WWE Universe believes John Cena will successfully defend his United States Championship in the upcoming brutal "I Quit" match with Rusev at Payback this Sunday.

John Cena will go toe-to-toe with Rusev at WWE Payback, as the three month-long feud between the United States Champion and the hero of the Russian Federation reaches its pinnacle at WWE's upcoming pay-per-view.

Cena and Rusev will meet in a championship "I Quit" Match.

Rusev is very close to finishing his strife with John Cena, as the upcoming match at Payback will probably be the last one of the series. The WWE Universe and wrestling fans across the globe are already speculating who's going over on May 17 at Payback.

It won't be surprising if many of those fans are going with the reigning US Champion, John Cena, for the win. That being said, it's not compulsorily because they support him, but fans are picking Cena because his clash with Rusev is an "I Quit" match, and there is no way Cena would utter the humiliating words, according to BleacherReport.

That means the Super Athlete will need to use desperate measures to get a victory over the Cenation leader.

The solution? his mouthpiece, Lana.

In recent weeks, Lana has propelled to popularity, while Rusev seems troubled from his inability to beat Cena. As a result, there has trouble brewing between the two.

Rusev has continuously tried to ruffle Cena and claim his dominance over him at every turn, but he failed.

While it's no secret that Rusev can't damage Cena's will, the latter part of the situation is different. Lana has been getting over with the live crowd almost every time she and Rusev have been on TV. Though Cena can't be controlled by Rusev, the same can't be said for Lana and that's not something WWE fans didn't expect as a heel such as Rusev will obviously not want his advocate getting pally with the fans.

Rusev now constantly keeps an eye on Lana, ensuring that she doesn't smile in front of the crowd and that she doesn't acknowledge them positively, or even accept their cheers.

After battling in three consecutive title contests, including the WrestleMania showdown, and a Russian Chain Match at Extreme Rules, the two warriors will collide on Sunday. As unimaginable as it may sound for either Cena or Rusev to say "I Quit," the stipulation is probably the only suitable finale for a rivalry that the WWE Universe has watched steadily grow, WWE noted.

WWE Payback will air live on WWE Network, Sunday May 17 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT!
